Bonfire as a Space for the Sacred

ree

Last night,we lit the fire again—not to banish grief, but to give it a place to sit.

Around the flames, our circle became a sanctuary: we held hands, brewed wild prairie tea, lifted cups to the Wild Sky.

We gave thanks to the grasses,to the wind that carried sparks skyward,to the rolling hills that cradle our home,to the earth for her endless generosity.

And then we sang—an ancient cantation,a reclaimed blessing for the elements, a reminder that this life, with all its tenderness and ache, is still holy.

The fire crackled its Namaste. And in the hush,we remembered what it means to stay softly strong.

Self-care isn’t always lavender baths—it’s holding grief by the fire, sipping wild tea, and daring to bless what hurts as sacred. That’s the badass way: not to distract or escape life’s weight, but to honor it, and in that honoring, find our strength again.
